Metamorphosis Ring in Gold

The Metamorphosis ring takes the familiar form of a signet and leaves its central surface blank. Ancient signets have been found without names or identifying marks, their purpose not entirely understood. The ring leaves open the space where an inscription might otherwise appear. Hand-sculpted in wax, the form develops slowly through constant adjustment and fine-tuning before being cast in sterling silver and finished in 18k gold.
