Methana rises from the volcanic peninsula of the same name in Greece, where the landscape has been shaped by successive periods of volcanic activity. In the Methana ring, Ethiopian opal is set within clear, effervescent dichroic glass, where flashes of color shift between the stone and glass as they catch the light. The glass is hand-sculpted around the stone’s individual form and kiln-cast through the lost-wax process, then set on a handmade 18k gold band. This ring is one-of-a-kind, to be made only once.
