At Mount Etna, the landscape is never entirely fixed. Eruptions open new fissures, and lava moves across older terrain, continually reshaping the mountain’s surface. In the Mount Etna bolo tie, an elongated turquoise fragment is set within hand-sculpted kiln-cast glass, preserving the stone’s irregular shape. Suspended from a leather cord, the bolo is finished with handmade 14k gold caps.
